Item Donation
Ways to donate items to St Peter & St James Hospice
Your donated items help the retail team at St Peter & St James Hospice to generate 30% of the charity’s income. Your support means we can provide expert care to those with life-limiting illnesses and their carers, family and friends across Mid Sussex.
Lindfield Clothing Collection Point
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donates to St Peter & St James Hospice. Every item sold in our shops helps raise vital funds for hospice care in our community.
To help us make the best use of your donations, please follow these simple guidelines:
We welcome:
- Good-quality clothing
- Shoes
- Linen
Please only donate items that are clean and saleable.
Please bag your donations
For safety reasons, all items should be placed in small bags before being put into the collection point.
You must place all donations inside the collection bin
Items left outside can become damaged by the weather, be removed by others, or require disposal.
If the collection point is full, please do not leave donations beside it. Instead, please return later or donate through one of our shops.
Collection schedule
The collection point is usually emptied at least three times each week.
As it is emptied on Friday afternoons, it can often become full by Sunday evening and Monday morning until the next collection takes place.
